We now manufacture Seismic mesh for Fiji and export markets made with G500E ductile steel rods. We have been manufacturing L grade hard-drawn reinforcing mesh as required for the South Pacific’s Construction and Building industry since 1990.
We have an integrated Manufacturing facility with state-of-the-art QA Testing Facility with 360-degree visibility of Quality Controls certified by ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems) & then distributed through leading building material suppliers or directly through our national branch network.
Seismic grade of reinforcing mesh is designed to withstand the forces of seismic activity provides stronger reinforcement to concrete foundations. All Seismic rod used to manufacture mesh is with Pacific Steel Bar Marking for Traceability. . This standard came about after the tragedy of earthquake in Christchurch, NZ where many lost their lives; many young and old lives could have been saved if we took seismic engineering in our design and construction. Development of the product involved an unwavering focus on research as well as independent testing in line with international requirements.- Grade (Seismic) as per FS-AS/NZS 4671, AS/NZS 4671:2001
- High tensile – Grade 500 (500MPa)
- High ductility – Class E (minimum 10% uniform elongation)
- Weight per m2 complies with NZS 3604 (min 2.27kg/m2).
- Range of options to meet customer requirements.
- Sheets individually tagged (available on request) and test certificates available.

Did You Know?
- Is made from High tensile, high ductility, PACIFIC STEEELTM 500E plain carbon steel, processed into high ductility reinforcing mesh. This reinforcing derives its superior strength and ductility by micro-alloying the steel with small vandium additions.
- Is Grade 500E (Seismic) as per FS-AS/NZS 4671.2003 Steel Reinforcing Materials – Reinforced Mesh.
- Seismic 500E grade of reinforcing mesh designed to withstand the forces of seismic activity provides stronger reinforcement to concrete foundations.
- All Seismic rod used to manufacture mesh is with Pacific Steel Bar Making for Traceability.
